The frag system
On April 8th. 2008 the frag system was born,
I got tired of setting up makeshift frag racks
everytime a swap was coming up and
everytime I'd buy a new coral I had nowhere
to put it!

So I ordered an HDPE plastic container from
these guys: Big Box
Equipment list:

44"x42"x24" frag tank
400 watt metal halide galaxy ballast.
400 watt Ushio 10 K or Hamilton 14K
depending on my mood.
Lumenarc III reflector.
Bubbleking 200 Supermarin skimmer.
ADHI model 60 Refugium.
Euro Reef Calcium reactor.
4- Korallia 4 powerheads.
Reefkeeper 2 controller.
3 jebo jager 200 watt heaters.
200 cfm exhaust fan in the room for
cooling.
Not too many frags yet but once the
system cycles properly and I'm
confident the water quality is stable i'll
have it filled up.

I am experimenting with my water changes
using water from the 600 when I do water
changes, I am thinking since there are no
fish in the system I need to import some
nitrate and phos into the system
